Position Description:

We are seeking friendly and professional folks to join our culinary service team! This position is great for service minded individuals who enjoy working in an intimate restaurant environment. Our commercial kitchen is home to our farm-to-table experiences ranging from family style dinners, and Sunday Brunch service, to multi-course supper clubs. As a member of our wait staff you will provide thoughtful service to our patrons, run food, bus, and assist with the set up and breakdown of our culinary events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a friendly, hospitable environment for customers.

• Greet patrons and assist them to their tables.

• Familiarize yourself with menu items, and describe and relay relevant information to customers.

• Take food orders, record and relay special food requirements to kitchen staff.

• Ensure the food being delivered to the patron is what was ordered

• Adhere to food, sanitary and safety standards.

• Work with fellow staff to maintain a good kitchen to table tempo by serving tables and relaying information to the kitchen in a timely manner.

• Assess and address patron needs.

• Inform patrons about the farm store, and direct them there is they are interested in purchasing farm goods.

  Qualifications:

• 1 year of service experience or similar role.

• ServeSafe Food Handlers License or willingness to obtain one before first day of service.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

• Good time management

• Interest in farm-to-table and regenerative farming preferred but not required.
